Principal at ULS, while at CLA Site Landscape Architecture, designed a new pedestrian plaza at the Lacrosse Stadium at the University of Albany. The final site design featured a new pedestrian plaza for elevated viewing of the field. The plaza features porous paving for stormwater runoff capture, a new shade tree and structural soil below the porous paving to accomodate root growth and reduce the potential for heaving of the plaza paving. The porous material was specified and installed by Chameleon Ways. The plaza opened in Summer 2020.
